Active Cosmeceutical Dermal treatments

Mesotherapy is a minimal invasive procedure that employs a series of multiple injections of various pharmaceutical and homeopathic chemical agents into the selective areas of the body. We harness the power of mesotherapy for slimming protocols, dermo-active inductions, and most skin solutions and more including hair loss treatments.

In addition to mesotherapy we offer micro-needling, nap-page and a variety of standardised options to achieve our results.

Botox

  1. Botulinum Toxin Treatments

Toxin is an amazing way to gain back more of a youthful appearance without having to undergo any surgery. Many people choose toxin for convenience, inexpensiveness, time, recovery and ease. It’s an amazing and non-invasive way to almost immediately appear younger. It is commonly referring to as “The Liquid Facelift.”

So, what exactly is The Liquid Facelift? It is the strategic combining of toxin and dermal fillers over the face to create a younger, plumper and more aesthetically pleasing look that is desired by the patient. It addresses pesky and unwanted lines, wrinkles, sagging and loss of volume. Patients enjoy this procedure not only because of the ease, price and time, but also because of its subtler appearance in comparison to going under the knife.

How Much Will I Need?

This is dependent upon the person; our doctors will happily address this during the consultation.

Where Will It Be Injected?

This is dependent upon the person, what is needed, and what is desired. Usually toxin will be used in the frown line and possibly other parts of the forehead as well as crow’s feet.

What kind of wrinkles does Botox address?

Botox treats wrinkles from deep lines to fine ones, it is generally more noticeable with deep wrinkles.

At What Age Should Anyone Start with Botox?

This is a debatable topic, but people as young as 25 years of age have been known to receive Botox injections in order to take preventative measures to avoid deeper wrinkles from forming.

Longevity and duration

  • Duration of results: 3-4 months
  • Recovery from treatment: 1-2 days
  • Risks and complications: Low
  • Anaesthetic: Ice/numbing/none

  1. Chemical Peels

An absolutely vital information for an aesthetic Doctor or Therapist to know before an appropriate treatment or Solution is prescribed for a patient, is the Fitzpatricks scale.

  • A patient’s Fitzpatrick Skin Type scale plays a huge role in determining treatment depths, downtime, and whether or not a patient is an appropriate candidate for a particular treatment or whether their skin type is, in fact, contra-indicated to any treatments. Inproper analysis of the patient’s Fitzpatrick Skin Type, can result to all sorts of negative side effects, including PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation), burning, scarring, and even hypo-pigmentation (pigment destruction or complete loss of pigment).
  • There are six skin types to consider when performing any chemical treatment or procedure;
  • Fitzpatrick skin type 1 – typically has a light, ivory skin but when exposed to the sun always burns and peels but never tans.
  • Fitzpatrick skin type 2 – has a light, fair complexion and burns quickly when exposed to the sun and rarely tans.
  • Fitzpatrick skin type 3 – usually has a beige tint to the skin and may burn when exposed to the sun, but is capable of tanning.
  • Fitzpatrick skin type 4 – this is a person with olive skin or light brown tone and will not freckle when exposed to the sun. This person rarely gets a sunburn and tans regularly.
  • Fitzpatrick skin type 5 – is a dark brown or black skin tone, rarely gets a sunburn, and always tans under sun exposure.
  • Fitzpatrick skin type 6 – is black and is the darkest skin tone. This person never burns and tans quickly when exposed to the sun.

Why the chemical peel?

Our peel range is a great way to experience real skin rejuvenation with results, without the harsh side effects that are typically associated with peels. There is little to no down time after the treatment and very limited redness, swelling and peelings. This peel works by combining regenerative capabilities of glycolic acid in combination with a range of potent activities. This provides intense hydration and anti-aging benefits with resurfaced and regenerated skin.

What to expect and duration

  • Anesthetic: None
  • Procedure Duration: 45 minutes
  • Recovery from treatment: None
  • Risks and complications: Low to medium

3. Micro-needling

What is Micro-needling treatment?

The micro-needling uses multiple needles that pierce the skin vertically with minimal pain compared to traditional Derma-roller rejuvenation. The micro-needling skin rejuvenation treatment has great results and there appears to be much less epidermal damage. The automatic, high speed vibrating function of the needling device increases the effectiveness of the treatment by rapidly creating multiple insertions, quickly and clinically, dramatically reducing pain and discomfort for the patient.

Duration and what to expect

  • Recovery from treatment: 1-5 Days of redness
  • Risks and complications: Low to medium
  • Anesthetic: Topical
  • Procedure Duration: 60 minutes

4.Derma-plan Treatment

What is Derma-plan?

Derma-plan is a safe, non-invasive treatment which uses a special tool at a forty-five-degree angle and stroked along the skin, while holding the skin taut to remove “peach fuzz”, as well as dead skin cells.

Derma-plan can be performed as a stand-alone treatment or done prior to and in combination with other skincare treatments to enhance their effectiveness. This is a wonderful form of mechanical exfoliation that can be used with or without chemicals. This treatment does not require downtime and will leave you with baby smooth skin.

All skin types may benefit from derma-planning. A Derma-plan is not recommended if you have acne or an excessive production of sebaceous gland oil. (Sebaceous glands excrete oil along the vellus hair). If the hair is removed, the oils may cause bacteria growth that can stimulate acne breakouts.

Benefits of Derma-plan treatment:

  • Promotes smoother skin
  • Removes soft facial hair that traps dirt and oil
  • Derma-planning enhances the effectiveness of other skincare treatments such as chemical peels and provides deeper product penetration
  • Reduces recent acne scars
  • Reduces fine lines
  • Produces immediate results with no downtime

Duration and what to expect

  • Recovery from treatment: None
  • Risks and complications: Low
  • Anesthetic: None
  • Procedure Duration: 60 minutes

5.Hair loss Complex Therapy

Involves both mesotherapy of bioactive peptide injections and platelet rich plasma to reverse hair loss in both males and females. These bioactive peptides contain growth factors and amino acid peptides to give desired results.

What are Growth Factors?

  • Growth Factors, or cell signalling molecules, are naturally produced by the body and critical for the regulation of cell activities and homeostasis. When extracted and applied on the skin, Growth Factors can penetrate the dermis, trigger the secretion of other vital growth factors necessary to repair the skin and stimulate the collagen production.

What is Growth Factor Induced Therapy?

  • Growth factor technology are gaining grounds in recent practice for a wide range of treatments. This breakthrough technology has been used to produce a range of specialized serums to treat specific skincare concerns, such as aging, hair loss and acne. The full range of serums yield more concentrated growth factors.

How are the Growth Factors applied to the skin?

  • After applying the appropriate serum directly on to the skin, we use needling device to create immersion channels. The handheld device has many tiny needles attached to create small channels. These channels help the Growth Factors to penetrate directly into the dermis, ensuring more dramatic results.
